The Fokker D.XIII was a fighter aircraft produced in the Netherlands in the mid-1920s. Developed from the Fokker D.XI, it had a new powerplant and refined aerodynamics. It was a single-bay sesquiplane with an open cockpit, fixed tailskid undercarriage, wooden plywood-skinned wings, and a steel-tube fabric-covered fuselage. Germany acquired 50 aircraft for its clandestine flying school at Lipetsk in the Soviet Union.
