Terms of Use
Last updated: 25 September 2026
Operator details pending: the legal identity and contact address of the operator have not been published yet. They will appear on this page before public launch. Kosmora does not claim to be operated by any company until then.
These Terms govern your use of Kosmora (the “game”). By creating an account you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.
1. A free game
- Kosmora is free to play. There are no paid packs, no premium currency and no paid advantages. We never ask for payment details.
- Kosmo (the in-game currency), packs, cards, talents and all other game items are virtual items licensed to you for use in the game. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money and are not your property.
- Selling, buying or trading accounts, Kosmo or cards for real money or anything outside the game is prohibited.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old, or the digital-consent age in your country if higher (with parental consent where required).
- Sign-in uses one-time links sent to your email. Keep access to your mailbox secure and never share a sign-in link.
- Kosmora is designed as one account per person. Creating multiple accounts to collect welcome packs, to feed another account, or to coordinate transfers between accounts is prohibited.
- Your player name must not impersonate others or be offensive, hateful or misleading.
3. Fair play
- No bots, scripts, automation, scraping or interference with the service. Presence and production must come from genuine use.
- Do not exploit bugs. If you find one, report it to us; good-faith reports will not be held against you.
- Harassment of other players, abusive album names or descriptions, and spam reports are prohibited.
4. Economy, markets and the Black Market
- Production, prices, odds and fees are set by the server, which is authoritative. Displayed counters are estimates until confirmed.
- Access to player auctions and the Black Market requires an account at least 7 days old, activity on at least 3 different days and at least 500 Kosmo of passive production. These thresholds may change.
- Auctions: listing fees are charged when you list and are not refunded; a sale commission is deducted from the seller’s proceeds. Fees and commissions are destroyed, not paid to anyone. A bid reserves its full amount until you are outbid or the auction ends. A bid accepted in the last two minutes extends the auction (anti-sniping). A listing can be cancelled only before the first bid. Bids are binding.
- Black Market: one offer per UTC day, with a single copy for the whole world, priced in Kosmo only. The first successful purchase wins; the offer then shows as sold. Exclusive cards are never re-issued and cannot be recycled.
- Recycling permanently destroys the recycled copies in exchange for the displayed Kosmo.
5. Content and attribution
- Card texts are adapted from English Wikipedia articles and are available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 licence. Each card page links its source article and contributor history.
- Illustrations come either from Wikimedia Commons under their own licences (credited on each card) or are AI-generated and labelled as such. AI illustrations are artistic interpretations, not documentary images.
- Kosmora is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Wikimedia Foundation. See Sources and Credits.
- Encyclopedic content can contain errors. Please use the Report action on a card page to flag inaccurate text, a wrong family or an inappropriate image.
6. Your content
You remain responsible for the names and descriptions you write (player name, albums). You grant us a licence to display them within the game. We may remove content that breaks these Terms.
7. Moderation and corrections
- We may restrict access to markets, remove content or suspend accounts that break these Terms, in proportion to the issue.
- Errors in balances or ownership are fixed through audited corrective operations, never by silently rewriting history. We may reverse gains obtained through bugs or abuse.
8. Changes to the game
We balance and evolve the game: prices, odds, talents, families and rules may change. Changes apply going forward and are announced when significant. Card rarity is fixed when a card is first issued, except for exceptional audited migrations that will be announced.
9. Availability
We aim for a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Parts of the game (sign-ups, openings, auctions, Black Market, illustrations) can be paused for maintenance. Actions confirmed by the server are never lost because of an interruption.
10. Ending your account
You can request deletion at any time in Settings; it executes after 7 days and can be cancelled meanwhile. Pending auctions and bids are resolved first. Some pseudonymised history is kept to protect the integrity of the economy (see the Privacy notice). We may close accounts for serious or repeated violations.
11. Liability
The game is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses or for the loss of virtual items, which have no monetary value. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law of the operator’s place of establishment, which will be stated here once the operator details are published, without depriving you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.
