Steve Jobs was an American businessman and investor who co-founded Apple Computer Company with Steve Wozniak in 1976. After leaving Apple in 1985, he founded NeXT and bought the computer graphics division that became Pixar. He returned to Apple as CEO in 1997 and was involved in developing and promoting products including the iMac, iPod, iPhone and iPad. He died in 2011.
