The Dictator is a 1922 American silent comedy-drama film produced by Famous Players–Lasky and distributed through Paramount Pictures. It was directed by James Cruze and starred Wallace Reid. Its basic story had previously been filmed in 1915 with John Barrymore, who had appeared in a supporting part in the 1904 Broadway production starring comedian William Collier. Both film versions are now lost.
