League of Legends Champions Korea, abbreviated LCK, is South Korea's primary League of Legends esports competition. It is contested by ten teams and runs two seasons each year, providing a direct route to the annual League of Legends World Championship. Riot Games and KeSPA administer the league in cooperation. Formerly called League of Legends Champions, it was restructured and renamed in late 2014, then franchised in 2021.
