Chimney sweeps' carcinoma, also called chimney sweeps' cancer, soot wart or scrotal cancer, is a squamous cell carcinoma of the scrotum. Percivall Pott initially identified it in 1775, and it is described as the first reported occupational cancer. It was prevalent among chimney sweeps and has also occurred in men exposed to mineral oil or who worked with coal distillates. Other names include epidermoid carcinoma and epithelioma of the scrotum.
