Aurealis Award for Best Children's Fiction

Literary Awards

The Aurealis Award for Best Children's Fiction is an Australian literary award category within the Aurealis Awards. It recognises published speculative fiction by Australian citizens or permanent residents. The category replaced separate children's fiction awards for works told primarily through words and through pictures. In 2013, it was known as the Aurealis Award for Best Children's Book. Nominees are judged by a panel that selects a shortlist and winner.
