RG7795, previously called ANA773, is an orally available prodrug of isatoribine. It was developed by Anadys Pharmaceuticals, which Roche acquired in 2011. The drug candidate reached Phase II trials for hepatitis B by 2015. Its active metabolite activates TLR7, leading to secretion of endogenous type 1 interferons with antiviral activity. Development appeared to have been discontinued by 2021.
