The golden-shouldered parrot, Psephotellus chrysopterygius, is a rare small parrot found in the southern Cape York Peninsula of Queensland, Australia. It is also called alwal, arrmorral, minpin, thaku, or antbed parrot. Related to the hooded parrot and the extinct paradise parrot, it is classified as endangered, mostly because increased mid-story vegetation raises predation. A conservation project is underway at Artemis Station.
