The CN Tower is a communications and observation tower in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Completed in 1976 on the former Railway Lands, it was built by Canadian National and later transferred to the Canada Lands Company. A signature icon of Toronto’s skyline, it has observation decks, a revolving restaurant, and an entertainment complex. It remains the tallest free-standing structure on land in North America and the Western Hemisphere.
