Fallingwater is a three-story house museum in Stewart Township, Pennsylvania, designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright as a weekend retreat for Edgar J. Kaufmann Sr. and Liliane Kaufmann. Built partly over Bear Run, it features cantilevered outdoor terraces, locally quarried stone, reinforced concrete, steel, and plate glass. The Western Pennsylvania Conservancy has operated it as a tourist attraction since 1963. Fallingwater is a National Historic Landmark and part of a Frank Lloyd Wright World Heritage Site.
