Mount Wilson is the highest summit of the San Miguel Mountains, part of the Rocky Mountains of North America. It rises to 14,254.1 feet (4,345 m) in the Lizard Head Wilderness of San Juan National Forest, Colorado. The peak is named for Hayden Survey topographer A.D. Wilson, who joined the first ascent party in 1874. It is distinct from the nearby, lower Wilson Peak.
