The 154th Rifle Division was a Red Army infantry division first formed in June 1940. It fought in the defense of Tula, the counteroffensive that liberated Kaluga, and operations near Kozelsk before becoming the 47th Guards Rifle Division in October 1942. A new 154th was formed in May 1943. It fought from the Smolensk region through the Baltic states and East Prussia, ending the war on the Samland Peninsula before disbandment in February 1946.
