Telltale Games was the trade name of Telltale Incorporated, an American video game developer based in San Rafael, California. Founded in July 2004 by former LucasArts developers, it focused on episodic adventure games distributed digitally and supported by its Telltale Tool engine. Its 2012 game The Walking Dead introduced a choice-driven narrative approach used in many later games. The company closed in 2018 after filing for bankruptcy protection. LCG Entertainment revived the name in 2019.
