The Michelangelo quadrangle is a region in Mercury's southern hemisphere. Its imaged area is heavily cratered and strongly influenced by multiring basins, which have affected the distribution of plains materials and structural trends. Mariner 10 provided complete photographic coverage at about 2 km resolution, supplemented by twelve stereopairs. The Bach quadrangle lies to the south, with Neruda to the west and Discovery to the east.
