Severn Link

Severn Link was a ferry operating company founded in 2010 to provide services across the Bristol Channel between England and Wales. Its first planned passenger route was between Ilfracombe and Swansea, using two Fastcat ferries, but an investor withdrew before the service began. Later proposals included links to Cardiff, Penarth, Minehead and Porthcawl. Despite the sale of the planned catamarans and landing facility problems, proposals remained under discussion through 2021.
