The Dolorous Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ According to the Meditations of Anne Catherine Emmerich is a Christian book published in 1833. It is based on visions of the Passion of Jesus experienced by the German Roman Catholic mystic and stigmatic Anne Catherine Emmerich. Clemens Brentano recorded and compiled the visions for the book. It was translated into many languages and was a major source for Mel Gibson's 2004 film The Passion of the Christ.
