Cyber Core is a 1990 vertically scrolling shooter developed by Alfa System. Set in 2269 after Earth is overrun by the alien Hyper Insects, it has the player pilot a Chimera bio-fighter craft to repel the invaders. It was published for the TurboGrafx-16 in Japan by Information Global Service and in North America by NEC. An X68000 port by SPS added improved visuals and audio and rebalanced the difficulty.
