Napoleon I's French Imperial Army was defeated by British-led and Prussian forces of the Seventh Coalition, commanded by the Duke of Wellington and Gebhard Leberecht von Blücher. The battle was Napoleon's last engagement, led to his definitive abdication, and ended the First French Empire.
