Glen Travis Campbell was an American country musician and actor, best known for hit songs in the 1960s and 1970s and for hosting The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour. After working as a Los Angeles studio musician with players later known as the Wrecking Crew, he became a solo artist. His hits included “Wichita Lineman,” “Rhinestone Cowboy,” and “Southern Nights.” He won Grammy awards and received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012.
