The LG cloche was a fixed defensive cupola used in many Maginot Line ouvrages in France. Embedded in concrete atop a combat block, it allowed grenades to be launched for close defence against troops on a bunker. Its flat crown had one shuttered opening and no observation ports. Three models were made, and 75 units were installed in the Maginot Line. The original 60 mm launcher was later replaced by a 50 mm mortar.
