USS Clemson (DD-186) was the lead ship of the Clemson class of destroyers and served in the United States Navy during World War II. Entering service in 1919, she was placed in reserve in 1922, then converted to an aircraft tender and reactivated in 1940. In 1943 she returned to destroyer service in the Battle of the Atlantic. Converted to a high-speed transport in 1944, she took part in several Pacific invasions before being sold for scrapping in 1946.
