The River class is a class of offshore patrol vessels built primarily for the Royal Navy of the United Kingdom. Nine were built for the Royal Navy, comprising four Batch 1 and five Batch 2 ships. The remaining Batch 1 vessels conduct fisheries security and border patrols in UK waters, while Batch 2 vessels support overseas maritime security and disaster relief. Related designs have also been used by the Thai and Brazilian navies.
