Leiolepis is a genus of agamid lizards commonly known as butterfly lizards or butterfly agamas. Its species are native to parts of Southeast and East Asia, including Peninsular Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, the Ryukyu Islands, Vietnam, and Hainan. The genus includes both sexual and asexual species, and it is the only genus in the subfamily Leiolepidinae.
