Rosevear is an uninhabited island and the largest of the Western Rocks in the Isles of Scilly, United Kingdom. Its Cornish name, Ros Veur, means “great promontory”. The island lies on the south-west approaches to Great Britain in the eastern Atlantic Ocean. It is owned by the Duchy of Cornwall and managed by the Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust. Landing is not allowed.
