Brainfuck is an esoteric programming language created in 1993 by Swiss student Urban Müller. It was designed to be extremely minimalistic, using eight simple commands, a data pointer, and an instruction pointer. Although it is Turing-complete and can be used to write any program, its limited abstraction makes programs long or complicated. It was intended to challenge and amuse programmers rather than for practical software development.
