Jenaro de Urrutia Olaran was a Spanish painter born in Plencia/Plentzia, Biscay, in 1893. He studied in Bilbao, Paris and Rome with scholarships from the Regional Government of Vizcaya. Known mainly for murals, landscapes and scenes of local customs, he led the Basque Artists' Association from 1926 to 1929. His works are held by the Bilbao and Vitoria Fine Arts Museums.
