Bottle Caps are sweet tablet candies made to resemble metal soda bottle caps. They come in grape, cola, orange, root beer, and cherry flavors, with a tart and slightly sweet taste. Introduced by Breaker Confections in 1972, they were later sold under Nestlé's Wonka brand and are currently sold by the Ferrara Candy Company. Earlier versions included an ingredient that produced a fizzing sensation, which was later removed.
