Peter Pursell was a Scottish footballer who played as a defender and won one cap for Scotland in 1914. He began his senior career at Queens Park and joined Rangers in 1914, helping the club win league titles in 1917–18 and 1918–19. He later played for Port Vale and Wigan Borough, then became player-manager of Congleton Town and manager of the Dutch club Dordrecht.
