State Council of China

The State Council of China, also called the Central People's Government, is the supreme administrative organ of China and the executive organ of the National People's Congress. It consists of the premier, vice premiers, state councilors, ministers, commission chairpersons, the auditor-general, the governor of the People's Bank of China, and a secretary-general. Its functions include issuing administrative measures, drafting legislation, and preparing economic plans and the state budget.
