IRIS Dena (75) was a Moudge-class frigate of the Southern Fleet of the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy. Named after Mount Dena, she entered naval service in 2021. On 4 March 2026, she was sunk during the 2026 Iran war by the United States Navy submarine USS Charlotte in international waters near Sri Lanka's southern coast. The article describes her as the only ship sunk in active combat by a submarine since 1982.
