WASP-121, formally named Dilmun, is a magnitude 10.4 star about 858 light-years away in the constellation Puppis. Its mass and radius are similar to those of the Sun. The star hosts one known exoplanet, whose orbit is almost polar because WASP-121 has a strongly tilted rotational axis. Although rich in heavy elements overall, WASP-121 is depleted in carbon and has a carbon-to-oxygen molar ratio below the solar ratio.
