Westwood is a borough in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States, and is part of the New York metropolitan area. Known as “The Hub of the Pascack Valley,” it had a population of 11,282 in the 2020 census. It was incorporated on May 8, 1894, from parts of Washington Township. Isaac D. Bogert was its first mayor. Westwood was later enlarged by annexing part of Emerson in 1909.
