Rochestown is a primarily residential area in Cork City, Ireland. It was originally a somewhat rural area in County Cork, but housing developments during the 20th and 21st centuries connected it with Douglas and nearby suburbs. Rochestown was formally incorporated into Cork City on 31 May 2019, as part of the Cork boundary change. The R610 passes through the area, linking lower Cork Harbour villages with the city centre.
