Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney, née Alamuddin, is a Lebanese and British international human rights lawyer. Her clients have included former Maldivian president Mohamed Nasheed, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, journalist Maria Ressa, and human rights activist Nadia Murad. She is a Professor of Practice in International Law at the University of Oxford's Blavatnik School of Government and a senior fellow at the Oxford Institute of Technology and Justice, which she co-founded.
