BA-64

The BA-64 was a Soviet four-wheeled armoured scout car, developed between July and November 1941 to replace the BA-20 in Red Army armoured car units. Built on a GAZ-64 or GAZ-67 jeep chassis, it had a hull loosely modelled on the Sd.Kfz. 221. More than 9,000 were manufactured before production ended. After the BTR-40 was adopted, remaining Soviet vehicles were retired and exported as military aid.
