Thera cupressata, or the cypress carpet, is a moth in the family Geometridae. It occurs in southern and western Europe, including Great Britain, Germany, France, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Greece and Spain. Adults have a wingspan of 28 to 32 mm and fly in two yearly generations, from May to June and from August to September. Larvae feed on several cypress and juniper species.
