Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport is a public airport in Bay County, Florida, United States, located 18 miles northwest of Panama City. Owned by the Panama City-Bay County Airport & Industrial District, it replaced Panama City-Bay County International Airport. Commercial flights began on May 23, 2010. Although designated an international airport, it has no scheduled international flights. It was the first international airport in the United States designed and built since the September 11 attacks.
