Abralia similis is a species of enoploteuthid cephalopod found in equatorial and subtropical Pacific waters south of the Kuroshio Current. It is known from waters around Papua New Guinea, Japan, Kiribati and Tonga. The species shows sexual dimorphism: females have mantle lengths of 17 to 30 mm, while males reach 17 to 22 mm. Male spermatophores measure 5.2 to 7.7 mm, and female oocytes are 1.0 mm long.
