HMS Duguay-Trouin was an 18-gun French privateer sloop launched at Le Havre in 1779. Captured by Surprise in 1780, she entered Royal Navy service under her existing name and was sold in 1783. As the West Indiaman Christopher, she captured French merchant vessels and later made five Liverpool-based triangular-trade voyages in enslaved people. She was lost at Charleston in a hurricane in September 1804.
