The 1989–90 OHL season was the tenth season of the Ontario Hockey League in Canada. Fifteen teams each played 66 games. During the season, the Toronto Marlboros became the Dukes of Hamilton, the Guelph Platers became the Owen Sound Platers, and the Kingston Raiders were renamed the Kingston Frontenacs. The OHL Executive of the Year award was inaugurated. The Oshawa Generals won the J. Ross Robertson Cup over the Kitchener Rangers.
