The blue-faced malkoha, also called the small green-billed malkoha, is a non-parasitic cuckoo found in scrub and deciduous forests of peninsular India and Sri Lanka. Its upperparts are waxy dark blue-grey, and its long tail has graduated feathers with white tips. It has an apple-green bill and bare blue skin around the eye. The sexes are alike, and it inhabits open forests and scrub jungle.
