Leo Tornikios was a mid-11th-century Byzantine general and noble. In 1047, he rebelled against his cousin, Emperor Constantine IX Monomachos. Tornikios raised an army in Thrace, marched on Constantinople and besieged the capital. Following two unsuccessful assaults, he withdrew and his army deserted him. He was captured and blinded at Christmas 1047, after which no more is known of him.
