Fluffer

Occupations

A fluffer is a person employed on a pornographic set to help keep a performer’s penis erect for filming. The duties are considered part of the makeup department and may, but do not necessarily, involve physical contact or sexual acts. Some pornographic actors have said the role is no longer needed because of medical and prosthetic advances, while a former fluffer described use in certain group-sex scenes.
