The wood warbler (Phylloscopus sibilatrix) is a common and widespread leaf warbler. It breeds throughout northern and temperate Europe, extending into the extreme west of Asian Russia in the southern Ural Mountains. Strongly migratory, its entire population winters in tropical Africa.
