Higashiizumo was a town in Yatsuka District, Shimane Prefecture, Japan. In 2003, it had an estimated population of 13,817 and a total area of 42.64 square kilometres. On August 1, 2011, it was merged into the expanded city of Matsue and ceased to exist as an independent municipality. The merger also dissolved Yatsuka District.
