2nd Bomb Wing

The 2nd Bomb Wing is a United States Air Force unit assigned to Air Force Global Strike Command and the Eighth Air Force. Stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana, it is also the base's host unit. It is one of two Air Force wings flying the B-52H Stratofortress. Its 2d Operations Group is the Air Force's oldest bomb group and served on the Western Front during World War I.
