Jimmy John's is an American multinational sandwich chain headquartered in Champaign, Illinois. It was founded in 1983 by Jimmy John Liautaud, whose initial hot dog business changed to sandwiches because of costs. The chain has more than 2,800 locations, 98% of which are franchises. Roark Capital Group bought a majority stake in 2016, and Inspire Brands purchased the company in 2019.
