Charles William Faulkner was a printer and publisher who first produced Christmas cards with a partner, then became sole proprietor of the business. Incorporated as C. W. Faulkner & Co. in 1905, the London-based company produced calendars, diaries, games, playing cards and postcards, with much high-quality printing done in Germany. Its games included Misfitz, a trick-taking game whose characters were assembled from three cut segments. Faulkner died on 18 November 1915.
