The Nissan Pathfinder is a range of sport utility vehicles manufactured by Nissan since 1985. Early generations were based on Nissan's compact pickup truck platform, shared with the Navara/Frontier. It was marketed outside North America as the Nissan Terrano until global Pathfinder branding began in 2004. The 2012 R52 model changed to a three-row crossover SUV with a unibody Nissan D platform.
